Private or group lessons available for all ages! For anyone that would love to start performing, improvisation, to working with a band, musicianship and theory, vocal health, or even have fun with singing for personal gain! Lessons can cover anything from vocal technique, repertoire and stage presence. She has studied under internationally acclaimed vocalists such as Sharny Russel, Ingrid James and Melissa Forbes, and has tutored some of Brisbane's professionally gigging vocalists. After returning from America, Charlotte completed her BMus and began regularly performing at functions and events with several bands, as well as writing her own material and privately tutoring. After winning the June Bronhill scholarship for vocal excellence in 2007, Charlotte toured New York and LA with a small vocal group for G'day USA; Australia week, designed to showcase Australia's best. Charlotte also made an appearance at the Valley Jazz festival. She has performed at many venues around Queensland, Limes rooftop hotel, QPAC, for example The Brisbane Jazz Club, and The Turnaround Jazz Club where she played a show with her band The Charlotte Mclean Quartet. She has performed with artists such as Hugh Jackman in the 'Boy from Oz!' production, Helen Russel, and has also performed with John Hoffman, and Olivia Newton John, was support act for The Veronica's, Steve Newcomb and Bruce Woodward to name a few. Charlotte Mclean performs well known jazz standards with a modern twist. With a velvety-smooth voice, she interprets many genres of music to produce her own addictive style. Brisbane's own Charlotte Mclean captivates an audience with her cheeky smile and endearing stage presence. Beginners to an Intermediate level.
