Behind their father’s end in 1953, Walter’s sons, Bob and Jack Ingram, expanded the business through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, to become the largest integrated poultry producer across Australia and Fresh Zealand. Ingram’s subsequently entered into the production of turkey and stock feed, and enhanced it's further processing capabilities to cater to temporary consumer preferences towards value enhanced poultry products. Today, Ingram’s employs 8,200 people and continues to construct on Ingram’s elated history of quality and customer service, supplying major retailers, speedy service restaurant (qr) operators, food service distributors and wholesalers.

During this rotation, you will build your knowledge and skills in the area of design engineering to help achieve Ingram’s business objectives. During this rotation, you will build an understanding of the role of veterinary technical services in producing safe, tall quality poultry products that confront and exceed consumer expectations. This rotation will bear you with an understanding of Ingram’s distribution department which plays a key role in ensuring a safe and high quality poultry product is delivered and exceeds consumer expectations.
