There are a number of steps to enroll at Shailer Park State Lofty School. Shailer Park State Lofty School is a rapidly improving school that seeks to take its store among st the nation’s best schools. In 2015, our Yr 9 NAPLAN results placed Shailer Park Tall as one of Logan’s leading schools among st both government and private schools, with potent growth on all achievement measures. We know that students require excellent teaching and learning and need to be nurtured in a caring and supportive environment. A Shailer Park Tall education is an exciting journey that, with firm labor and persistence, will lead to a highly rewarding future. Leadership and community participation as well as forging a pathway to post school win sets the tone for Senior secondary. This is due to the devices we currently have been now out of warranty and no further Government funding has been provided to state schools to remain the program. While Shailer Park HHS will remain to deal with irrelevant behavior in line with existing policies, the school is not liable for any devastate or replacement costs incurred while the device is at school or drifting to and from school. Designed to deliver workplace specific skills and knowledge, vocational education and training (VET) covers a wide range of careers and industries, including trade and office work, retail, hospitality and technology as well as support roles in professions such as engineering, accountancy, nursing, medicine, child care, aged care, architecture and law. Here at Shailer Park State High, we are committed to providing a variety of Vocational Education Training programs to aid our Senior Lesser students prepare to work in this wide range of careers and industries. The Nexus Academy at Shailer Park HHS is an academic excellence pathway designed to defy the most capable of students and enlarge the minds of the future! Information on the sport excellence program. Shailer Park Lofty offers many extracurricular programs to support and enrich student engagement in school. We have a strong culture for learning in our school and this includes lofty expectations for student attendance. 85 of our students meet our high expectations for attendance of 95 to 100 attendances and we encourage, acknowledge and reward high rates of attendance. A range of support, intervention and accountability measures are adopted to get the best rate of attendance for every kid and where required to assist parents meet their obligations for their child's attendance at school. There are very suited first aide trained staff in the school that do this. The School Based Youth Health Nurse role is to donate health information and promote to young people so they will make well choices in their life. I also labor with the school community on issues that may affect the health and healthy being of young people and the school community as a whole. This includes providing evidence based programs and information for curriculum, teaching and learning activities providing health information and referral supporting the development of an environment and school culture that supports health and healthy being and occupied with community and other services. I work with young people, school staff and parents to: Encourage health and well being around relationships at home and school, bullying, alcohol and other drugs, mental health, sexual health and general health and nutrition. Create a supportive, well school environment. Unite people with other support service. I often work with the school to arrange health promotion activities with students and staff during lunch breaks in line with National Health Weeks to inform, educate and motivate people to make healthier choices so they can fulfill their potential physically, socially and emotionally and therefore have more choices in life. The service enables students to successfully balance an increasingly broad and hard range of educational and developmental issues that resist them in their progress through lofty school. These issues can include career goals, parent adolescent relationships, sorrow and loss, peer relationships as healthy as mental health concerns. Within the school the Guidance Officer works with other members of the Student Care Team, istration and Teaching staff for the benefit of the student. Help students to select subjects and courses good to their interests. Aid in developing successful and effective examine skills. Tertiary pathways Universities and or private colleges. Enhance students resilience and coping skills with stressful situations during their adolescent years. Marley provides individual support, case management and, where appropriate, group encourage to students to maximize their engagement with education and training. Student referrals to good agencies and promote services that will help students to overcome barriers to education and training. Identifying and providing good assistance to students experiencing difficulties at school and at home which may put them at risk of leaving school prematurely.
