From humble beginnings in a backyard caravan, the story of Two Men and a Truck is both personal and heartfelt. Two Men and a Truck launches in Sydney with the buy of our beginning truck. We had no idea of the splendid journey that lay ahead. Our very first office! Our founder Richard was politely encouraged by his wife Cheryl to move his office out of the family home and into the backyard, where he worked from a small caravan seven days a week. Fight to preserve our business from the clutches of Two Men and a Truck Inc USA. Our beginning step into national expansion is made, as our Melbourne office is opened! Our East Coast expansion plans are now in full swing. To ensure the quality of our service supersedes the cost. To earn your confidence in our service through our actions. Our illustrious founder Richard was born in the Netherlands but he has called Australia home for the preceding 42 years. In 1993 he ditched his tools from the hospitality. There is nothing she hasn’t seen, done or conquered. Behind a large trip to Japan, Jake joined the team as a removalist not scholarly that his marketing degree would soon quickly reach of use. The summer of 1994 was a defining moment for our Chief Estimator Sean. We’ve everlasting been a compassionate group, right from the start. Whether it’s moving charities for free, helping out local community groups or flying to Vanuatu to urge children’s education we are correct there. We wanted to consolidate all of our charitable activities into one overarching program that is designed to give back in a huge way. By helping out at an internal, local and international level, Moving Together focuses on two areas: the environment and our community. Through this program, we carry out activities that decrease our impact on the environment and we are always raising awareness around worthwhile causes, to support charities and community organizations. Apart from being personally imperative to everyone busy at Two Men and a Truck, it exists to blend our charitable activities into a more meaningful model and hopefully inspire other businesses to receive similar steps to become more sustainable. We are passionate about creating a occupied model that shows other companies how they can be both supportive and sustainable. Here are just some of the projects that have benefited from our pro bono support, through Moving Together. We are here to prove that moving doesn't have to be a headache, one move at a time.
